Obama's memorial selfie
US President Barack Obama was caught snapping a selfie with British PM David Cameron and Danish premier Helle Thorning-Schmidt during the memorial service of former South African President Nelson Mandela.
The image has gone viral on Twitter and the hashtag #ObamaSelfie is quickly trending. Many users have made snarky remarks against the leaders, noting that “funerals are no place for selfies.”
Like or hate Mandela, the fact is that at any memorial service for a deceased human being there is a universal code of respect and conduct but this code of respect and conduct is being blatantly broken by the three selfie stooges from the UK, Denmark and the US.
They weren't the only disrespectful ones. The whole crowd was completely out of control. The moderator had to ask them multiple times to be quiet, and even interrupted the President of India's speech to do so!
Oh, yes...George Bush! that's ok for him - selfie with Bono much more important than memorial of Nelson Mandela.
What a shame!?
Than is realy bad for the image of USA!
